Sunday Mornings at All Saints’

“Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” Luke 18 :16b NRSV

Children are very welcome at All Saints’, but we appreciate that sitting through a service is not easy.

We have a range of groups that run most weeks during term time to suit all ages and stages.  We always start and finish our worship all together in Church.

Shortly after the service begins, the children and young people go off to their groups, returning during Communion.

BABIES
Babies are welcome to remain in the service but should they become unsettled there is an unstaffed Crèche Area available.  This is in the carpeted area by the kitchen.  There is a changing mat  in the ladies toilets, situated behind the kitchen - do help yourself to the kitchen facilities if you need to warm babies’ food or bottles.

Please feel free to come and go between the Service and Crèche using the door by the kitchen .

ATOMS
This group is for accompanied Toddlers and Pre Schoolers, aged from 18 months to 3 to 4 years and meets in the Gibbs Room.

A volunteer from the Atoms team leads the children and adults in a simple worship session using songs, prayers and Bible Stories suitable for this age range.  This is followed by free play and drawing activities

ALL STARS
This group is for 3 to 7 year olds who are at School Nursery or Infants.  Children in this group are unaccompanied.  Those who need to be accompanied by their carers are very welcome to attend the Atoms Group.

The leaders plan an exciting session with a range of  storytelling, songs and multisensory activities and games to present the Bible in a suitable way for this age group.  All Stars use their own song and prayer and have fun learning and worshipping God.

The group meets in the Long Room and is staffed by three volunteers from the All Stars Team.  Should your child become unsettled, a leader will come and find you in Church.

MOON WALKERS
This  group is for Children aged 7-11 yrs who attend Junior School.  The group meets in the Vicarage and is staffed weekly by two volunteers from the Moonwalkers team.

The children use a range of multimedia resources and are encouraged to read, listen, pray and reflect upon the Bible and what it means to them.  They use a variety of activities help them deepen their understanding.

GLOW
Young People who are in year 7 and above at school meet in the Joshua Chapel and are led by the Church Youth Worker.

The group consists of a mixture of Bible Study, Discussion, Games, Prayer and Worship.  Click here for more details.
