Youth Groups

Glow Sunday morning group
In the same way, let your light GLOW before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven (Matt 5:16, adapted)

Glow
is a new Sunday morning youth group for secondary school aged young people at All Saints’ church.

We gather with the rest of the congregation for the first part of the morning service, which starts at 10am, and leave when the younger children head to their groups, spending the remainder of the service in the Joshua Chapel, before re-joining the rest of the congregation for communion.

We spend time getting to know each other, sharing what we’ve been up to in the last week and what we have coming up in the week to come. We listen to music, have competitions and, most importantly, spend time looking at, and talking about, the Bible in a way that shouldn’t be too confusing, allowing time for questions and discussion.

We also like to pray for, and support, each other through the varied trials that may come.

We are a mixed group of young people and welcome anyone; whether it’s your first time at All Saints’ or you’ve been coming for years!

What we’ve covered in Glow so far:

September 13th: Where are you at with God?
September 20th: Giving - as a group, who shall we support this year?
September 28th: Who is Jesus?
October 11th: Why did Jesus have to die?
October 18th: Why did Jesus have to die? (different young people)
November 8th: Communion - why do we do it?

What we will be covering in coming weeks:

Knowing about Jesus and what he has done for us, how can we respond?
God’s character                                  Prayer
Being a 24/7 Christian                       Worship
Reading the bible
